Summer Camps

Enrollment for 2018 is now open!

What is a Spanish-Immersion Camp?

Following the philosophy of language-immersion instruction, we provide a setting for your child to absorb the language naturally. Our camp is not a sit-down Spanish class. Just like you would expect of any summer program, your children will work on art projects, play sports and games, listen to music, dance, cook, eat lunch, etc. The difference is that ALL of our activities are led in Spanish by experienced instructors who are native speakers of the language.

Who can enroll?

Summer Adventure Camp is for children ages 3-4
World Explorers Camp is for children ages 5-9

Each of our two-week sessions will guide your child through a fun-filled discovery of the Spanish language and culture. Campers will enrich their linguistic, artistic and cultural experiences through hands -on art projects, sports, cooking lessons, music, games and more. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required, but we also welcome children who already speak the language at home.

*Students need to meet the age requirement by June 15th. No exceptions will be made.

Camp Sessions

Session 1: June 18–29
Session 2: July 2–13 (no camp July 4)
Session 3: July 16–27

Camp Hours

Regular camp hours are from 9:15 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Children bring lunch every day, except for the last Friday of each session when we will celebrate a Spanish-speaking country with a traditional lunch fiesta! We will provide the food on that day. Optional before- and after-care is available from 8:00 a.m. and until 5:45 p.m. A snack will be served during the after-care hours.

Our summer staff is composed of the same talented and dedicated teachers who work in our Spanish-immersion preschool throughout the year. They are all native Spanish speakers and experienced educators who love sharing their language and culture with the children. We also carefully select upper high school and college students based on their knowledge of Spanish, talents and experience with kids. Our entire staff is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality in education and safety at all times.

Enrollment & Fees

Enrollment for our summer session has now begun! Because of the language component, we strongly recommend that students who are not native Spanish speakers enroll for at least two sessions. If you have trouble scheduling around other summer activities, please contact our office so that we may discuss alternate arrangements. A 60% prorated fee for one-week attendance is an option when in combination with an additional two-week session. The cost of camp is $445 per two-week session. A $245 tuition deposit per session, per child is required at the time of enrollment. The remaining balance is due by April 27th 2018. A $50 fee will be assessed for late payments. Please note that campers will not be allowed to attend any session until full payment is received, inclusive of any assessed fees.

Refund Policy

Changes and cancellations may be made up until April 27th. Until that date, you will receive a full refund less a $50 fee per session. No refunds will be offered after April 27th .

Camper Conduct

Children enrolled in our camp program are expected to be polite to their fellow campers and teachers. Unacceptable conduct by a camper will result in dismissal without a refund. Program Changes We reserve the right to cancel any program that does not reach an acceptable level of enrollment. In case of a cancellation, you would be notified as early as possible and given a full refund.
